System speakers not working
My laptop's speakers keep breaking when using Arch. I've had this issue for many months and the only way I've found to fix it is completely reinstalling Arch (KDE).
I am using a Yoga Slim 7 (14AKP10) with the latest version of KDE Plasma, installed with archinstall. They work fine when I first install Arch, though they are quiet so I use Easy Effects which fixes the problem there. After a while of using Arch, maybe triggered by a system update, the built-in speakers will suddenly stop working (my monitor's speakers still work, but that doesn't work when it's not plugged in).
I've tried a lot of fixes I've found online but none of them help. Below is the output of wpctl status:
