College Outlook email suddenly showing “invalid credentials” in Gmail

Hey everyone,

I’m having an issue with my college email and could really use some help

So I’ve been using my college-provided Outlook (learner ID) email in the Gmail app on my phone for about 2 years without any problems. Recently, it started acting weird:

  1. I get a notification saying “Credentials needed”

  2. When I tap it, the screen opens briefly and then just

closes automatically

  1. In Gmail settings, it shows “correct credentials needed”

  2. When I try to sign in, it closes immediately after showing “Getting account info…”

Can anyone help me regarding this
