I'm moving from the US to Germany for work and while I don't currently drive a Tesla, my wife and I were looking at a Model Y (we have 3 dogs and a kid). I will be able to use the VAT forms from work to avoid some of the standard taxes, but I am wondering where these cars are so technical, if things like the 120v to 220/240 swap will work or will be an outrageous cost. If there's any internal mechanisms like modems or antennas, software updates and things that will not work or have to be replaced.

Any information would be great so we can see if this is the correct decision for us. I'll be moving near Ulm if that matters.
