ive been riding for around a year now and im getting pretty decent, sounds corny but bmx is pretty much everything to me. my dad tells me im too much of a pussy to reach a high skill level, too much of a pussy to send things and that im 'too scared to make progression' (even though ive made what feels like good progress) and then proceeds to tell me he isnt belittling me. it hurts quite a bit to hear this from my own dad, the one who literally got me into the sport. any thoughts?
