Has anyone heard about Conversion Alchemy?

My daughter started working with them on a trial period, and the opportunity looks amazing. A bit too much, to be honest. I feel like there are several red flags, but at the same time they could be legit, and I don’t want my daughter to miss out on a great opportunity.

Does anyone have experience with this company?

Yesterday one of my posts was removed. That’s not really the point.

The point is the double standard and how moderation is being applied. Two posts in two days for challenging the narratives with data.

This sub has no problem with actual self-promotion, vague advice, recycled “best practices,” and content that adds zero value as long as it fits a certain narrative. That happens constantly and stays up. I could live with that TBH, but I won't engage on that behavior.

But when someone brings verifiable data that challenges those narratives, it suddenly becomes an issue.

The post that was removed contained data about a major SEO company and the problems it’s facing. Nothing was being sold, nothing was being promoted. Just data. Also, it didn't attack anyone, unless you think I was attacking Semrush. The mod allowed it to stay up "for a minute" (his own words) so he could answer and close it. As it will happen with this one I assume.

So the question is simple: what exactly is being moderated here? The rules, or the narrative?

Because from the outside, this doesn’t look like consistent moderation. It looks selective, and it’s hard to ignore that this sub is tied to commercial interests fro a marketing group, anyone can see it in teh sidebar. Furthermore, a mod that never (EVER) shown in this group closed teh first post. Curious. Even more curious is that he couldn't close it under spam (a bit of honesty) but some ridiculous non-existent rule.

Back to yesterday: If this was removed for “spam,” then I’d like a precise explanation: which exact part of the post qualifies as spam, and under which specific rule? Deos anyone really think I'm Brian Dean or someone from Semrush?

I'm not asking for a label, but a clear reference to content and rules.

I also can’t ignore that moderation decisions don’t happen in a vacuum. When the same pattern repeats, it’s reasonable to question whether this is about rules or about WHO is posting and WHAT they are saying.

I stay anonymous on purpose. I don’t promote my work here, I don’t look for clients, and I’ve been consistent about that from day one. I use this space to discuss real problems and real data, and to offer solutions when I can.

If that’s not welcome, then it should be stated clearly instead of using labels that don’t apply.

I’m also aware that my tone can be direct and sometimes abrasive. That’s on me. If anyone felt offended by how I express things, I apologize for that.

But I won’t apologize for bringing data or for pointing out things that don’t hold up when you actually look at it.

And just to be clear: I don’t need this sub. If being direct and data-driven is a problem here, feel free to remove me. It won’t make any difference on my end.

If you think authority is everything (and many people here thinks that), just check Backlinko on Ahrefs or even its owner, Semrush. I doubt anyone here has a site with more authority or legit backlinks that Backlinko or Semrush.

I won't post links or images since I can't, but anyone with an account on any of those tools can check it.
