I recently purchased my dream camera, the S5iiX and S1Rii after my G95D micro HDMI started to fail when outputting video to a field monitor. At first I thought it was a monitor issue so I bought new cables and a Atomos Ninja V. Turns out it was the faulty HDMI, I thought this was a Micro HDMI Problem, turns out its not.
I recently bought the S5iiX on B&H and have only owned it for 1 month and used it only 3 times. The HDMI port fails to output signal at all, not only that but it brought down USBC-SSD recording with it too. I am disappointed in Lumix's port quality even after following SDI Protocols with HDMI.
Now I have to pay OUT OF POCKET $50-100 to Professional Electronics in Florida with mid reviews by the way to see if they will cover it under warranty.
As with my S1Rii, HDMI output has a huge delay, completely unusable for fast action or any focus pulling.
