As a new-ish dad, I'm so glad that this show is around. It has held up so well over the years, it teaches FANTASTIC values of love, forgiveness, duty, pacifism, and friendship. The violence is also minimal, and it's so fun to act out the bending with my baby. Also, the world building is as good as the greatest fictional worlds.
Thank you, writers, for this. You have used the tv/video medium to create a masterpiece.
