Hi friends!

I was terminated without cause last week. I worked there for 3 years and my salary was $68K and made variable commission ($24K last year). The termination of employment letter states the following:

-Employment terminated on a without cause basis
-Statutory notice/ pay in lieu = $8,500
-Without prejudice conditional separation offer = $8,500

I’m wondering what my next steps should be. Is this a good offer? I was thinking about getting a lawyer to see if I have grounds for further legal action but it can be quite expensive for someone who no longer has a job lol. Any advice or recommendations are greatly appreciated!
