Did anybody else have a life crisis shortly after getting medicated?

I'm curious if this was a mid-20s thing or if it's just something that happens. When I first started concerta there was an adjustment period in which the side effects were kinda rough. Also had a few bumps in the road while figuring out what works, but things kinda ironed themselves out with time. But at some point I noticed I've become so much more aware and present than I used to be and it resulted in an extremely rough couple of months. Kind of felt like I've spent years living on autopilot and suddenly snapped out of it, or sleepwalked through a burning building until being shaken awake. Genuinely worst time of my life but I'm glad it happened since it pushed me to deal with things I've been automatically avoiding.

Could there be a correlation between concerta and becoming more present/aware of everything, or coping mechanisms losing their efficiency with introduction of medication? Did anybody feel like getting medicated forced them into confronting buried issues?

[TOMT] That grainy meme/image of a cat reaching for a supine kitten with her paws

Pls somebody tell me you know what I'm talking about. There's an adult cat reaching for a kitten with her front paws as if to lift it from I think a patch of greenery, the kitten is laying on its back. It's been used a lot as a meme/reaction image I think around 2022-24.
