When I was on exchange in the US, I couldn't access half the apps and services I needed. All of them wanted a US phone number.
Tried the free temporary number sites — shared numbers already blocked everywhere. Paid ones had confusing credit systems and the same problem.
Eventually I just built something for myself to solve it. But curious — how did others handle this?
Did you borrow a friend's number? Find a workaround? Just give up on certain apps?
