Are these necessary services and fairly priced?

Are these necessary services and fairly priced?

I am a single woman homeowner, and have zero clue about these things. I am happy to pay a fair price for needed services that will prolong the life of my a/c. I have a 2015 Lennox unit.

As far as I know, this kind of deep clean hasn’t ever been done, but it’s been at least 3 years because that’s when I bought the house. I can also find out if it’s ever been deep cleaned, if that’s helpful in making a decision- as I know the previous homeowner.

This company has been inspecting/lightly cleaning/maintaining my hvac twice a year for the past three years. I live in Austin, TX.

I appreciate anyone’s opinion. Thank you!

“The place where you made your stand never mattered, only that you were there and still on your feet.”

This is thought by Flagg in the coda of The Stand.

Is this the only quote in “The Stand” about “standing” - or are there others?

There are so many “stand” quotes in The Dark Tower series…I guess I expected there to be more in “The Stand,” but I’m coming up short with an Internet search, and I don’t have a searchable version of the text.

Thankee Sai!

Spoilers for “The Waste Lands” and possibly beyond!

In The Waste Lands Book One: Jake, section II: Door and Demon, chapter 4– Jake dreams of/with the teenaged Eddie who explains how he will guide him to the mansion at Dutch Hill. At the end of the dream, the very last thing he says to Jake is, “A river. The answer is a river.”

This is of course the answer to Aaron Deepneau’s riddle that had stumped Jake earlier that day. King writes:

What can run, but never walks,

Has a mouth, but never talks,

Has a bed, but never sleeps,

Has a head, but never weeps?

Now he knew the answer. A river ran; a river had a mouth; a river had a bed; a river had a head. The boy had told him the answer. The boy in the dream.

And suddenly he thought of something else Deepneau had said. That’s only half the answer. Sampson‘s riddle is a double, my friend.

So… It seems as though King is indicating that this riddle, like Sampson’s— is also a double, right?

Do we get the answer somewhere later and I’m just forgetting??

If I’m left to my own devices, the only thing I’ve been able to come up with is that “Blaine” is the second answer to the riddle. He runs (mechanically), is located in a cradle (bed) when we first meet him, and Eddie compares the front of the mono to a face (a head).

The only one I can’t make work is, “ Has a mouth, but never talks.”

Anyway, I’m thinking about this way too much tonight, and wanted to see if anyone else knows the answer or has ideas?

I’ve read the series several times, so no worries if you think the answer has something to do with the rest of the story.

Long days and pleasant nights, friends.🌹🌹🌹
