Mug jam

I’ve been buying packs of blueberries, eating half and then making the rest into jam. Just put blueberries in a mug, smash them with a fork, and add stevia (if you like the taste) for extra sweetness. After this I just throw a microwave lid over the cup and set it for one minute. Boom, jam. If you’re slavic this smells and tastes exactly like the jam we usually make and if you’re more used to American jam I think you could add lemon juice to recreate what you’re used to. Did I essentially just explain how to make jam as a meal hack? Yes, but I think me and a lot of people forget how easy it can be to just throw something in the microwave instead of having to make a whole batch of food. You could try this with a lot of different fruits, to me, something about warmed up fruits is really satiating.

Don’t know the calories since I eat the whole pack of blueberries over a day, but it’s no more than 170 calories if you’re using the same small packs I buy.

Edit: if you cannot cover the mug or your lid isn’t tight on whatever you’re making the jam in, set it to 30-45 seconds or do smaller batches because it can end up getting all over your microwave otherwise! found this out the hard way
