Hi everyone,

I got the copper IUD inserted on Thursday. I’m now on the following Monday and I am in so much pain, no pain killers are helping to ease this. I’ve tried hot water bottles, baths etc and nothing is easing it up. It’s like an intense period that I can’t get any relief from.

I’m also getting sharp pain on the left hand side? I could cry with how painful this is. I’m just wondering if this is normal and just settling in pains? The first day was awful but this pain feels the same as it did then. Let me know your experiences!
