I just found out after four years of thinking (what was never actually real) I had a real diploma. The story behind it…. I was taken out of grade school. I was home schooled in fifth grade. And years went by she stopped hiring teachers she made excuses why she couldn’t teach us. So finally she decided we will teach you life skills till you graduate. Cooking cleaning making products( since she runs a store) talking to people the whole nine yards. Once I turned 18 ( still homeschooled) I left home. I tried to get my ged but she never took me to take the final test. A year later my husband at the time suggested I ask her for my diploma. So I did. She gave me a gpa of 2.0. ( she runs a homeschooling program) I went four years never knowing it’s not real she never submitted my transcripts to the state, she never even told them I graduated. Just left it unknown. Know my old man now looked at it and it looks like a joke it looks fake. I’ve been lost on reason no one would hire me. I don’t have a real diploma
