I just got a record player for super cheap because it was missing a drive belt so I thought it would be an easy and cheap fix to replace it with a rubber band. Now that I’m testing it out it’s spinning too slow (33 too slow 45 too fast) and I was wondering if there’s anything I can do to adjust or if I just need to get an actual fix.

I have the band going around the middle of the turntable and attached to the white bit of the motor with the three screws. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
