This whole season Molly is super concerned with Sheena not saving money.

When Sheena’s dad said it’s the males role to provide she says “let’s put Forrest’s finances aside” and called out Sheena sending everything to her family.

Then the shared bank account and the dad having (valid imo) reservations to wanting them to have one prior to marriage enraged Molly!

She acts like Forrest sends Scheena all this money but Forrest doesn’t work and lives on disability. I think Molly is upset Sheena’s salary is going to her parents and not Forrest (and then to her through Forrest).

It seriously makes zero sense why Molly would care so much about her son’s girlfriend’s money and how she spends it…. Unless she wants the money herself.
