In season 2 episode 7,
The Draper family goes on a picnic in a park.
They clean up their belongings (blanket, cooler etc) but they leave their food wrappers and garbage in the park.
Was this normal?
Were there not trash bins in parks in the 1960s?
Or was this supposed to be some symbolism, of something else ?
