Hi Reddit, 28F here, working in design consultancy for the past 4 years. My role sits at an intersection of industrial design, graphic design, and marketing, and while I've gained a lot of valuable experience, I've been feeling increasingly like the work doesn't quite fit how I naturally think and create.
I'm someone who thrives with clear direction, loves executing within an established framework, and gets the most satisfaction from turning an idea into something tangible and well-made. I'm drawn toward more craft-oriented work: think print, branded environments, or anything where the output is physical and defined.
I'd love to connect with a coach or mentor who has experience helping people in their late 20s figure out whether to pivot, and how to do it without starting from zero.
