Apparently a massive, fabulous migration that happens each autumn, that's SO FANTASTIC, yet not particularly known about?! Where tens of thousands of honeyeaters, notably the Yellow-faced Honeyeater, migrate north from southeastern Australia in a spectacular, daytime flight. Occurring between late March and May, this movement brings birds from colder mountain regions to warmer coastal areas, driven by food availability (nectar and insects).
