Passed the F'26 NY UBE (268) but failed CA J'25 (1315): Need advice on bridging the gap for the CA J'26 Retake
Looking at the numbers, my written score in CA (1277) was what really held me back. Even though I passed the UBE, my MBE actually dropped slightly from my CA attempt (135.3 equivalent vs. 131.0). My CA essays were mostly in the 55–60 range. For those who bumped their written score from the 1200s to the 1400s, what changed in your formatting or issue spotting? I’m a very visual/logical learner are there specific flowchart-based resources you recommend for CA-specific subjects (Community Property, Professional Responsibility, etc.) I have the Mary Basick Book.
My Real Property and Contracts percentiles are consistently low. Are there any "click" moments or specific supplements (like AdaptiBar or UWorld) that helped you move the needle on these specific topics? I’ve used UWorld, Adaptibar and the Grossman Videos
I’ll be working Full Time as I have been through Law School and the way I did for J25 and F26, I’ve got rent and a 2 year old to feed so funds are very tight otherwise I would get one of those fancy tutors but I can’t afford 3k out of pocket right now. Any advice or help is appreciated.
