This is entirely based on my experience as a student who mainly used it for drawing, reviewing and some competitions at my school. First time making a big purchase(it's big cuz I bought it with my allowance).
I bought this some time in may? So it's almost been a year. I'll separate it to pros and cons then a summary.
Take this with a grain of salt because this is my first pen display coming from pen tablet.
Pros:
• the buttons are well made, not really at all flimsy.
• The fact I could turn it into a pen tablet. I discovered this half way in haha. I don't really know if other pen displays have that? ( prob do) But yea.
• The pen is light. (Might be a con depending the person.
• decent build quality
• the soft ware good.
There prob a lot more but that's what I can remember just from the tip of my mind.
Cons:
• the bezel(the black thing surrounding the screen) is so bigg. Like the screen to bezel ratio is huge. I mean I expected that it a bit cuz it's the budget version of the UE16 model but damn. Awfull screen to bezel ratio.
• The pen so thin I'm scared I'll break it. I used electrical tape around and masking tape to create a sorta grip? Because I couldn't find a case.
• the spinny thing and buttons. I mean they are good in quality but pretty much useless cuz I mainly use my keyboard. That was something I don't realize when I bought this.
• Nib replacements. It's so hard to find replacements. My mom accidently threw all my nib replacements when she was getting rid of boxes. Now I don't got anymore nibs.
Literally so hard. I mean they have it on their website, but I'm from a third world country, the shipping alone will be the death of me. Plus I'm a broke high school student. I tried find one on shopee and lazada? But they don't sell it there. I found some universal nin replacements? But they don't fit the pen for this model. Is either to long or to wide. Imoutta options.
Overall. It's a mediocre purchase. Save your money for another brand or the bigger model (ue16) because the screen to bezel ration is suchhh a bother. Finding replacement parts is difficult cuz the brand is quite niche. I used huion before (hs64) and it lasted me about 4 years. It still works but I was due for an upgrade (the wires was disconnecting alot)
(I promise it isn't dusty. I broke my phone camera when I dropped it now every photo I take looks musty)
