Hi everyone, I bike sometimes in NYC and got frustrated with bike directions that are technically “correct” but still feel unsafe, stressful, or uncomfortable.
I’m working on a map/app where cyclists can report things like:
- blocked bike lanes
- dangerous intersections
- potholes
- aggressive traffic areas
- routes that actually feel comfortable to ride
Kind of like a local Waze for cyclists. Made by and for the cyclist. Easy to read, easy to report, accurate and live.
Curious if NYC riders would actually use something like this.
What would make it genuinely useful for you?
