I don’t understand my cat???
Hi!
I’ve done some research and still can’t really understand my 1yo female cat.
She doesn’t like her back or tail touched so I don’t pet her there at all but she does on occasion like her head touched.
Sometimes she’ll seek out pets then immediately after she will aggressively bite, swat and hiss at me? She has drawn blood on numerous occasions. I don’t think this is the bunting and love biting. She will follow me if I walk away and try to attack me as I leave.
Her tail swishes and she looks really mad.
I have tried to move away from her when she’s asking for pets as it always ends in aggression, I’ve tried a small stroke and quitting before she gets too into it and attacks me.
But she will come over and jump up at my hand to get a stroke and she’ll purr?
She sleeps near us at night so I guess it isn’t a trust thing? I’ve had her from 10 wks old and I’ve known her from day 1.
She was my mums cats first litter. (Accidental!)
She doesn’t do this with my husband and seems to quite like him.
I don’t tend to bother her and I never force affection she seeks me out and changes her mind in a second.
I have two other cats who aren’t like this at all.
She just seems to have it in for me!
