Prefacing this by — I love my just for fun smut.
But… all the highly recommended reads I have started recently have been just—— smut there for the sake of smut or very little plot development or character development .
At this point I’m scared to try another highly recommended book .
I need some sure bets , please help. I love character development , I love plot. I want to fall in love with the world and the MMC and the side characters . I want yearning . For the characters and for me once I am done reading .
I prefer audiobooks but I will get the kindle version if that is the better route.
For perspective ( I started wolf king —- and although it has some okay aspects —- overall it seems just kind of disorganized and the characters are just weirdly inconsistent — please don’t come for me — I really wanted to like this ): )
