We just brought an adorable little kitten into our home and are thrilled to have him. Prior to him we have two adult cats who cohabitate neutrally, meaning for the most part they ignore one another. As soon as we brought him in we quarantined him to one room so the other cats wouldn’t see him, but could smell him. While our senior cat couldn’t care less our 5 year old adult cat is fascinated. She is standing outside the door constantly and scratching at it as well. Should I be concerned by this behavior? She is prone to scratching at doors so it isn’t unusual behavior, but I want to make sure that this time it isn’t out of aggression. When we initially brought her into our home as a kitten our other cat ignored her so I’m not sure what to be expecting.
