Hi everyone,

I purchased a new car in February 2026 and unfortunately, I'm already dealing with a flat tyre. I’ve swapped it out for the spare for now, but I’m getting a TPMS warning light on the dash (likely because the spare is a different size/speed).

Since the car is practically brand new, I wanted to understand the warranty process for tyres in India.

Has anyone successfully claimed a warranty for a flat tyre? I know manufacturing defects (like bulges) are covered, but what if it's a cut or a puncture on a very new tyre?

What is the actual process? Do I go to the car dealership or directly to the tyre brand’s authorized showroom (CEAT)?

Is it even worth the hassle? I’ve heard they charge "pro-rata" based on wear and tear. Given the car was bought just 2 months ago, should I expect a full replacement?

Looking for advice from anyone who has faced similar issues with their new Kylaq.

Thanks in advance!
