Hey, I'm talking on behalf of a girl I know.
Her father is sexually abusing her, the situation is getting worse, and it is soon reaching a point of no return. The girl has no adult in her life she can turn to, no one she can trust or confide in, and no one she can go and live with.
She is in Baghdad. She cannot go to Kurdistan because her relatives there are said to have connections within the state, she is afraid, and 'certain' they would find her. She also cannot go to the southern provinces because she is extremely afraid.
I wish I could help her, but I live with my family myself, and I don't know anyone who could take her in. Are there any women's organizations in Baghdad? Even if they are in other provinces, Baghdad would be preferable — I mean organizations that offer shelters where the girl can go to seek refuge.
