Help needed guys.

I applied for the Amazon ICICI credit card for the third time. The application page showed a tentative credit limit of 50,000 and then I completed the video KYC, which went smoothly. After that, I got a call from ICICI, they asked if any ICICI representative had called and helped me fill out the application. I said yes. Then he told me I would receive an approval email and SMS within 24 hours, and after that, the physical card would be delivered. The call ended.

The next morning, I received a rejection email with no clear reason. I emailed them for clarification, and today I got a response from customer support but they gave the same reason again.

I don’t understand what they’re trying to say. Please help me. Thank you.

So I applied again for the third time. When I was redirected to the page, it showed that I was eligible for a tentative credit limit of 50,000. Then I continued and completed the video KYC, where they only asked for my name and email ID, took a photo of my PAN card, and clicked my photo. After about 30 minutes, I received an email saying “Thank you for successfully submitting the Amazon Pay credit card application,” and it had an ICICI application form attached. I was very excited, thinking I might finally get the card.

About an hour later, I got a call from ICICI. He asked whether any icici representative had called and assisted me with the application. I said yes. He told me to open the Amazon app and check the credit card status. I said it was under review. He then said okay, he would update from his side that the application is under review, and that I would receive a confirmation email by the next morning. He also said I would get the physical card within 3–5 days at my address. Then the call ended.

At that point, I felt confident that I would get the credit card. But this morning, I received an email saying my application was rejected. They also gave a very vague reason for rejection. I have attached the email image please check.

What should I do now? Should I ask them to give me a proper reason?

Should I get a Slice credit card? Is it easy to get?

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the Amazon ICICI credit card.

I have only one credit card, which is an FD-backed credit card from SuperMoney. Before that, I had Amazon Pay Later with a limit of 40k. I paid every Pay Later bill on time, and it has been 2 months since I closed Amazon Pay Later.

I’ve been rejected twice, once in 2024 and again in 2025. Now, whenever I open Amazon Pay, I get a pop-up for the Amazon ICICI credit card.

I need some suggestions should I apply for the third time right now, or should I wait longer?

Also, I haven’t had any enquiries in the past 8 months.

I’ve been a Prime user for more than 6 years and use Amazon frequently for bills, payments, and shopping.
