Working in a journal l've handmade myself with the exact proportions and dimensions that suit me, pockets where I need them, in the colours I like, the perfect size and paper thickness for whatever capacity l intend to use the journals in- all of it feels so comforting and familiar in a way that store bought journals can’t quite replicate. I don’t have to adjust to fit the notebook anymore. I love this. I would like to learn how to bind with fabric someday; I’m opening myself up to experimentation no matter the outcome.
