Needing Advice For Taking The Security+ Exam

At the start of this year I've been studying to get into cyber security specifically as a SOC Analyst. I completed the Google Cyber security course through Coursera to familiarize myself with some fundamentals and I've been using Try Hack Me on the side. Even though I've learned a lot I'm wondering when I should know when I should take the exam. I wouldn't want to waste the money just to find out that I've got a lot more to learn. I'm also wondering if there are any ways to practice PBQs for example or if there are certain practice tests I can take to see how familiar I am.

Thanks for reading! :D

I appreciate any advice that comes my way
