Husband and I (both 32) expecting to start our first IVF (+ ICSI) cycle in August. We’re very fortunate we can fund this privately and looking at clinics but my head has been spiralling a bit since then.

Anyone who has gone through it, what advice do you have for someone about to begin preparing? How did you prepare yourself physically and mentally? How did you protect your relationship? What do you wish you’d known at the start?

I feel very clueless and helpless as I don’t know anyone personally who has gone through it. Any advice is very welcome!!
