Odorous House Ants infestation help
Found odorous house ants crawling from a nest in the corner of the room. I looked up on the void injection method but the raid max spray isn‘t sold in my country.
I also have some following questions below and hope someone can answer them:
For the pesticide used, can I use any pesticide that is also a repellent? I’ve also read that if strong pesticides/repellents/baits like Terro are used on odorous ants, it will cause the nest to bud. In this case, if I use a pesticide for void injection and not all the ants and queens are killed, does this mean that the nest will start budding just like if Terro is used?
Can I use Alpine WSG for void injection instead of a pesticide that kills the ants instantly? (for point 1)
Instead of drilling a hole into the wall myself, can I just inject the straw into the opening of the nest where the ants crawl out from? I’m renting the apartment thus unable to drill holes into the walls.
