Why the 4th Chaos Dwarf LL should be Abnagg Hellbeard, and he should be in Lustria
Continuing my GLORIOUS posting run (PRAISE HASHUT!), the 4th Chaos Dwarf legendary lord should be Abnagg Hellbeard: https://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Abnagg_Hellbeard
I understand a lot of people want Shar'Tor, but he isn't in Warhammer Fantasy and I suspect GW isn't a fan of the bull centaur lord.
Abnagg Hellbeard, while just a lore footnote, has a cool rivalry with the High Elves/Fortress of Dawn. So here is my modest proposal:
- Get rid of Spine of Sotek Dwarfs (they make *no sense* lore wise) -> have Tehenhauin start in the Spine of Sotek (IT JUST MAKES SENSE! He's the Sotek lizard!) at Hualotal
- Have Chaos Dwarf Abnagg Hellbeard start in The Night Forest Road at Kaiax instead of Tehenhuain. Have his starting enemy be the High Elf owners of the Citadel of Dusk, with the idea being he decided to attack the High Elves from the other side of the world after not succeeding the first time attacking the Fortress of Dawn
- Have Hellbeard's victory objectives include capturing the Citadel of Dusk, the Fortress of Dawn, Barak Varr, The Maelstrom, and Arnheim, the idea being to give the Chaos Dwarfs clear paths to trade with Naggaroth by sea and trade and ravage the Old World.
- Have Hellbeard have unique benefits to capturing major port cities.
- Have Hellbeard have shipbuilding ONLY for his flagship: The Hammerblaze
- Make some cool unique landmark buildings available to Chaos Dwarfs in a few Lizardmen settlements. Give Chaos Dwarfs a reason to go dino hunting with their blunderbusses! I'm sure Chaos Dwarfs would love to harness and corrupt Old Ones technology/magic.
