Not sure if it's changed, or is still the same today..

(New gun owner here) My friend recently bought a shotgun from a shop off the wall. It did not come with any case or even a cardboard box. so we walked like 6 shops and all the way to the back of the parking lot to my car. This felt extremely weird with a shotgun just out in the open. They did put the receipt in the barrel.

After testing it out with an experienced gun owner, he realized it wasn’t cycling and was missing some parts.

Talked with the shop and they said we can bring it in. But am i going to be okay walking back in with a shotgun? It still feels weird.
