April I saw 7 2026 horror movies and the fan film Crow movie Days of Sodom that is also listed as horror so it will be here as well.

  1. the Yeti: This is the only film I watched in April I disliked it is slow, a pretty dull story, and very little yeti

  2. thrash: The mandatory random shark film we have to get every year and has such it is fine doesn't really standout. We got a bigger shark film that also came out this week.

  3. Hive: I enjoyed the concept in this film with a mix of Children of the Corn and parasite type film. There is some fun moments in it just wished it played more with the concept

  4. Bhooth Bangla: One of those films that is kinda a tale of 2 halves as this is a horror comedy and instead of dedicating to the horror comedy it decided to make the first half a comedy then turn the second being the horror (though not really all that scary). The first half is pretty fun as a silly comedy with few horror moments in it the second half is a dull generic predictable horror film with all the tropes.

  5. Days of Sodom: The first actually good the Crow story since the original 94 classic with really just the flaws of it being a fan film namely not having the production value and having a bit of an amateur action scenes feel to it.

  6. Salmokji: A Korean water ghost story with cursed ritual theming. You get some fun scares and a lot of twists and a nice slow atmospheric first 3rd act.

  7. Faces of Death: the biggest surprise of the year so far. Who would have thought they could make a remake of an exploitation film with minimal story into a movie with a good story that honors the first while completely stepping into its own identity.

  8. The Mummy: the divisive film of the year so far with so many finding it disappointing and a lot finding it kinda refreshing and fun. I'm in the its fun a refreshing camp. It still has its flaws, but I'm a sucker for any film inspired by Evil Dead and leans into it to give us those scares and demonic fun.
