Brush Cursor Offset ONLY on Canvas with Wacom Movink [Linux Mint]

Hi,

sorry for that convoluted title but I have a wacom problem that’s specific to Sai so I hope this is the correct sub to post this.
I’ve researched several fixes for Windows but since I’m on Linux Mint I have no idea how to solve it. (I’m a total Linux beginner, sorry. orz)

There is an offset between my pen and the brush in particular whenever I use my pen on the canvas.
The offset does not occur when I click on anything else. Menu, layers, tool bar, etc. all work fine.
When I use my pen within the canvas field the mouse arrow is even in the correct position of the pen. It’s only the brush circle that’s offset a little to the left.

I’m using a Wacom Movink 13 and I run Saiv2 via Bottles following this guide.
The movink works great. Wacom drivers are up-to-date. No problems in Krita, Gimp or InkScape.
Even in Saiv2 everything, incl. pen pressure, works as intended except for the offset.

When I switch the API to mouse mode in “Options” (thus disabling the wacom pen pressure) the offset disappears and the pen-brush alignment is just fine.

I’ve found out that this seems to be a well-known specific bug with wacom drivers that causes this exact problem.

I also know that the creator of Sai has added an option in one of the .ini files to disable the bug.
For Sai2 it is the file sai2.ini. I’ve changed the setting accordingly in said file but it didn’t work.

Another Windows fix I’ve seen is right-clicking Sai, going into properties and changing the high DPI settings to "Override high DPI scaling behavior".
But I can’t/don’t know how to do that on Linux Mint.

Do you have any idea how I could tackle this bug on Linux?

Thank you for your time!
