I have achieved nothing in my life. AMA!

I feel there is less representation of people who haven't achieved anything significant in their life YET. We definitely will though! Ask away!

What do y'all think?

With GNEM and decent academics (8/9/7), I was a fool to leave my job in last March for the CAT prep, coz I did not know much about work ex weightage in clg. Being my first attempt and being a professional overthinker, I think I couldn't give my 100% purely because I had too much time in my hand. so first advice is: dont leave your job unless it is an extraordinary situation.

Even though I scored decent for my first attempt (97.21%ile), I don't feel confident regarding college conversion. So this is my plan for now: Focus only on top 3-4 colleges, and if I convert them, great. Just join them. but after that, I wont take admission just because I want to do MBA this year, because ROI is very important to me coz Ill be taking loan for fees. Considering the worst case scenario, if I do not convert any of these colleges, instead of starting CAT Prep again, Ill find a job and rectify my blunder. then after 1-2 years of experience, Ill be trying for CAT/OMETs again. because I cannot compromise ROI for a Tier 2.5/3 college.

And honestly, I am not even trolling those who are taking admission in these colleges, good for you. Congratulations and make sure you do your best. And I agree this is a privilege that I can even think of repeating CAT after a couple of years, but might as well take advantage of that privilege. It will also give me necessary break from the sheer CAT drama which has the only thing in my life since 13-14 months. And ofc the added work ex will be helpful in admission as well as placement.
