Hey there, we are planning on taking my daughter to build her own Lightsaber in June. I noticed it says that only one person can be in the experience with the builder. How strict are they with that? I understand they only have so much space and can’t allow lots of people. But my wife and I were really hoping to do it as a family. Will they make an exception so both parents can be with their kid?

Hey there. I grew up less than a mile from
Disneyland in the early 90’s. Always had an annual pass. To this day I mostly have the park memorized like the back of my hand. But there was no such thing as Galaxy’s Edge. We now live out of state and are taking our 8 year old daughter who just started watching all Star Wars movies and is REALLY into them. We’re gonna do the lightsaber build at Ovi’s, get a drink at Oga’s Cantina, and of course we’ll make sure to get on both the rides. But knowing Disneyland so well, and Star Wars being such a massive cultural phenomenon, I have to safely assume there are a ton of really cool things to see in Galaxy’s Edge.
So apart from what I’ve mentioned, what are some fun things to see and do inside Galaxy’s Edge? Any cool hidden gems? Stores? Characters? Attractions?
Want to make the most out of this trip especially because my daughter just so happens to be experiencing all the movies for the first time, and really into them.
Really appreciate all your insight.
May the Force be with you.
