Fresh double helix + switched conch to hoop w/ a charm
Finally switched the conch stud (as pretty as it was) to a gold hoop with a charm! Pretty much the reason I got my conch done in the first place. Since I was at my piercers I thought why not, let's get some new piercings - hello double helix!
The plan later on is to get either an industrial on my left ear or another double helix, and then some flats. Considering the rook but that depends if I can be bothered with the faff since it's quite hidden and can be difficult to clean (my piercer suggested at least). We'll see! Daith is unlikely as I am an avid earphone user even though it looks so prettyyyy
Edit: I forgot to mention the pain - omg. I'm usually good with pain tolerance but getting the helixs done, I could literally feel the hole being punched and that gave me a humbling reminder that piercing is, in fact, cutting a hole into your skin/cartilage. Fortunately, I didn't move or wince but I DEFINITELY felt it. Its been an hour and so far its fine. I honestly thought it would be like my conch but I can say this felt more obvious. Worth it though, would get it done again 😂
