What's the general opinion on YGs words about how Babymonster should focus on music?

An article came out today how YG is not allowing the members of Babymonster to be ambassadors for different brands, saying that the main focus should be music. What's the opinion here on reddit like? Because twitter has a split opinion about it, but twitter is not great when trying to get a logical answer.

I see both sides of the coin on this one,

On one side, Babymonster are still a very young group with a lot of time ahead of them, it makes sense for YG to say the primary focus should be music, build up their popularity and status even more, extend their discography, BUT YG should focus on the music part too and promote their comebacks, because what was this??? No teasers, minimum photos, minimum effort to make people outside of the fandom be interested. But that's a different story

On the other side, them becoming ambassadors would boost their popularity too, make the more general public more interested in the group or the members themselves, the downside being that they would have to sacrifice time to be active for their brands, and having less time for music

So I'm interested about your opinion about it, no fanwars, no hate, just pure opinion if you have any

Ps: I'm new to kpop so I dont have all the facts and lore of kpop, YG and Blackpink

I know people mentioned that YG doesnt want another situation like Blackpink where they "outgrew" the company

I'm interested in the general kpop fans opinions on just the song CHOOM, not the whole album. Monstiez and regular Babymonster fans are big fans which is obvious, including me. But I want to know the general listeners opinion on it, what you like, what you dont like.

It seems to me that people enjoy it more than hate on it which is always good, but it also can be that my social media pages are cleaned from them, although some stupid fan wars always find their way in.

Personally I really like, from the 1st listen it sat very well with me which doesnt happen often, cant stop listening to it, Asa killed her parts, catchy chorus with a good bridge at the end.

I'm new to kpop, but I'm somewhat interested in buying an album, particulary for Babymonsters' CHOOM, but this doesnt matter.

What I need to know is, is there any difference in price in the album in general before and after release? Because I've seen a comment that said pre-sale is cheaper, which I asked if it's true and I didnt get a reply.

I know in the pre-sale there are I think 2 extra photos (CHOOM), but I'm more interested in any price difference if there's is any usually or depends on the company/group
