Should I Apply for Rescoring?

I need some advice regarding PTE rescoring. In Alpha PTE mock tests, my speaking scores are consistently around 76, but in the actual PTE exam I got only 53 in speaking. Surprisingly, I scored 67 in Writing even though I used essay templates.

This score difference feels very unusual to me. Has anyone experienced something similar? Do you think applying for rescoring is worth it in my case, or is it usually not helpful for PTE?

Any advice or personal experiences would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,

I recently got my PTE results and scored 55 in Writing, but I need 60 for my requirement.

I’m confused whether I should go for rescoring or just retake the exam.

Has anyone seen writing scores increase after rescoring?

My other sections are fine, so this 5-point gap is frustrating.

Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks!
