Should I buy the Fenix 7 pro solar or?
TL;DR: Fenix 7 Pro Solar is on sale for 400€ — tempted to buy it as my first Garmin, but unsure if it's overkill for my activities and whether I should get the Sapphire version or the Enduro 3 instead.
The Fenix 7 Pro Solar is currently on sale for 400€ (~$472) and I'm tempted to pull the trigger, but I have some hesitations.
I've seen people recommend the Sapphire version for the scratch-resistant display, while others point to the Enduro 3 because it's still actively receiving updates.
My main concern is whether this is too big of a purchase relative to how I actually use a watch — especially since this would be my first Garmin.
My activities include:
Running
Cycling (my main form of transport)
Hiking
Bouldering (used to, might get back into it)
I'm active in general and I'm genuinely excited about features like HRM and sleep tracking — those are big selling points for me.
