hey everyone, I’ve lost multiple cats over the course of 3 weeks to disease, and each one scratched me in some way while administering medication. my skin is not prone to scarring as it heals pretty well, and they weren’t deep wounds, but I want to memorialize them in some way by their scratches. I’m in a line of work where I can’t comfortably get tattoos and still be respected, so ideally I’d want them to look like they did scar. would that be offensive to some people? would a tattoo artist actually do that and help me memorialize my cats?
EDIT: let me clarify the offensive to some people part. I don’t mean that I’m worried about people being offended, but I’ve encountered hard headed older people who think a scar is something to earn, so I’m just trying to gauge if other people have experienced it too. If it’s not a super common thing and it’s mostly just weird people in my area then I could care less.
