Hello, I have a 2020 Toyota Tacoma SR5 2.7L 4 cylinder engine. A few weeks ago I started hearing a rattle on cold startup every so often. Over time it got worse and now it rattles on every 2-3 startups. I called a mechanic and he said he thinks it's VVT system. I can't get it in until the 11th but I have a trip that's 4 hours away this weekend. Would it be a bad idea to drive it?
