The title says it all. I assume that if people are already digging themselves into crippling debt just to keep driving oversized SUVs, then higher gas prices won't be the nail in the coffin urbanists hope they'll be. Here in the Eastern SGV, gas prices have almost completely surpassed $6.00 at every station. I still see people where I work who live across the street driving their oversized SUV from one side of the street to the other instead of walking and crossing the street. I would love to hear your thoughts
