Should I complain about the cabinet door color variation?

Should I complain about the cabinet door color variation?

My new kitchen cabinets just got delivered 2 days ago, and today I saw them in place for the first time (door hanging is not adjusted yet, so they’re not exactly even).

I’m concerned about the large color variance in the natural oak upper cabinets. These aren’t custom cabinets, but also not cheap. I’m not expecting the wood grain to flow from door to door, but shouldn’t the color and depth of the grain be more similar?

What would you do? Has anyone had a similar experience?

My bathroom has this 65in wide niche that used to have open shelves. (see original photo). During the remodel we've removed the shelves and I'm unsure how to best use it to maximize storage? I've added a photo facing the other direction to show how the rest of the bath will look like, dark floors, light grey large format wall tiles, and the vanity will have natural white oak doors.

The designer I'm working with suggested upper and lower cabinets with a countertop for the niche, but I'm thinking it might be better to just have floor to ceiling doors and space behind it?

What would you suggest?

How should I use this space after taking down shelves?

This shows the rest of the bath as fixtures are going in.
