So, our Kenwood fridge freezer suffered a compressor failure on Friday, cost of replacement is more than we paid for the appliance 8 years ago, so seems mad to fix it.
We want another 4 door unit (top 2 door fridge, 2 separate freezer at the bottom)
We have the choice of a few brands between £650 and £1000
There's Hoover, Kenwood, Beko and Haier at the cheaper end, Lg and Hisense in the middle, Samsung at the £1000+ mark.
I can't work out if paying more means it'll last longer or there's just more to lose when the next one breaks.
Every Google search says that whirlpool are great, however they don't do any in the 800mm range. We can't fit a full 900mm one in the gap.
Any recommendations on brand?
