Looking to work with musicians on the admin side (not marketing)

Musicians/artists/producers:

I’m interested in working with musicians on the admin/organizational side of things — not marketing, content creation, or social media management.

I’m the type of person who naturally notices inefficiency, clutter, disorganization, things falling through the cracks, etc. I’m very detail-oriented and good at structuring, organizing, tracking, documenting, cleaning things up, and generally making life less chaotic behind the scenes.

What I don’t know yet is:
What do musicians actually need help with operationally/admin-wise that they either:

  • hate doing,
  • avoid doing,
  • don’t have time for,
  • or wish someone reliable would just handle?

Examples could be:

  • organizing files/sessions
  • keeping track of releases
  • managing inboxes
  • scheduling
  • documentation
  • coordinating things
  • spreadsheets/databases
  • archiving
  • research
  • follow-ups
  • handling tedious tasks
  • etc.

I’m trying to better understand the real pain points in the music world outside of “marketing,” if any.

If you’re a musician, what backend/admin stuff drains you the most or slows you down?
