As I was leaving college, a man came up to me asking for help. He told me that he needed money badly, he then showed me he had a medical bag by his hip with a tube coming out of it. I could only remember his crooked smile as he pleaded to me

I caved and gave RM50, but he asked he needed RM75 for his treatment, I gave the rest and a little more. He thanked me and said he would pray to God for me

Do you think it was the right thing to do? I was afraid at the moment that he'd do something malicious and could not back out, but he seemed genuine and didn't appear aggressive, he simply begged for RM25 more when I gave initial amount
