UPLAE 2026 is wrapping up...Now it's your turn.

We honestly think one of the hardest parts about preparing for the LAE is that nobody really teaches you how to begin.

You open Reddit, Facebook groups, Discord servers, and suddenly it feels like everyone already has their review schedules planned out, multiple reviewers ready, logic techniques memorized, and months of preparation ahead of you. Meanwhile, you’re still trying to figure out what subjects you should even focus on first, whether you’re already behind, or if you even know how to study for the exam properly.

And after seeing this year’s results, we think a lot more people became anxious about the LAE.

The passing list felt shorter. The competition felt harder. Then you remember that the LAE is not even the same exam people took years ago anymore. Face-to-face ulit. No calculators. No direct admissions. Everything just feels more uncertain now, especially for people who are only beginning to think seriously about law school.

That’s honestly why we wanted to hold a free session this Saturday.

Not to pressure people into enrolling anywhere, but because we know a lot of aspiring applicants are still stuck in the “I don’t know where to start” stage. Sometimes what people need first is not more reviewers or more pressure. Sometimes they just need direction and a clearer understanding of what the process actually looks like.

During the session, we’ll talk about what the LAE actually feels like, common mistakes students make while reviewing, how to prepare smarter instead of just harder, and how to build a study plan that actually matches your own strengths and weaknesses.

It’s completely free and open to anyone taking or considering the LAE.

May 16, 8PM, the session will be held online in our Discord Group.

Visit our Facebook page, T.A.L.K. LAE, for the sign-up instructions and session details.

Honestly, after the UP LAE results came out this year, we noticed that a lot of people became more anxious about the exam.

Some were happy for their friends but quietly scared for themselves. Some are planning to retake. Some are only now realizing they want to try for UP Law next year, but feel overwhelmed because everyone online already seems so advanced.

And with how much the LAE has changed over the years, we understand why people feel lost.

The exam went back to face-to-face. Calculators are no longer allowed. Direct admissions are gone. The passing rate feels lower every year. Then you go online and see people studying months in advance, buying multiple reviewers, sharing schedules, talking about logic techniques — and suddenly it feels like you’re already behind before you’ve even started.

We’ve received so many messages these past few days asking:
“Is it too early to start?”
“What subject should I focus on first?”
“How do I know if I’m improving?”
“Do I just answer reviewers every day?”

Truthfully, a lot of people study for the LAE without really knowing what they need.

Some people are already good at reading comprehension but weak in logic. Some know the concepts but panic under time pressure. Some study hard for months but never fix the areas that actually pull their scores down.

That’s why we built our review program around diagnostics first.

Before lectures even begin, we want students to understand where they currently stand so they stop reviewing blindly. We try to help them figure out what needs work, how they study best, and where they should actually spend their time.

One thing we noticed from our students who passed this year is that many of them came from our earliest batches. Not because they were naturally smarter than everyone else, but because they started early enough to improve gradually instead of cramming everything close to the exam.

My partner and I started T.A.L.K. LAE because we knew how overwhelming LAE prep could feel when you don’t know where to begin. We’re a small online review program run by a lawyer and a UP Law student, and we try to keep our approach more hands-on and personal compared to larger review centers.

We currently have an early bird promo until the end of May where students who enroll in our lecture series with coaching will get our Diagnostics Coaching phase for free.

If you’re planning to take the LAE next year and you feel lost right now, that feeling is more common than you think.
